Corner Trainer, support

Corner Trainer is a round clock that calls muay thai combinations out loud, so a bag session runs with the phone in a pocket and nothing to look at. It works offline, with no account and no sign up, in English and in French.

Getting help

Write to contacttheomartin@gmail.com. I built the app and I read every message myself, so there is no ticket number and no form to fill, though there is only one of me and the answer is not always the same day.

What makes a problem fixable on the first reply, your iPhone model, your iOS version, the app version, and what you did in the seconds before it went wrong. A screen recording beats a description whenever the problem is something you saw or heard.

Worth knowing before you write

The coach keeps calling with the screen off, and through the silent switch, with the round and the clock on the lock screen. If it goes quiet, check the media volume first, the volume buttons during a session set the one the calls use.

Your own music can stay on. Calls duck it and it comes back, nothing needs to be stopped before a session.

Nothing is on a server, so there is no account to recover and no history to restore on a new phone. Everything lives on the device, deleting the app deletes it, and the CSV export on any session screen is how you take it out before that.

The app never watched you train. There is no camera and no sensor, so it counts the calls it made and says nothing about how you threw them, which is why no screen tells you a technique was correct.

Bugs and requests

A combination that sounds wrong, a program you would like, a strike missing from the voice pack, all of it goes to the same address. Combinations and programs are data rather than code, so a good request is usually a short edit rather than a release.

The app collects nothing, the detail is on the privacy page.
