Rot Push-Ups, privacy
Rot Push-Ups collects nothing. No account, no sign up, no analytics, no advertising, no third party code that sends data, and no server of mine behind it.
Your data
Your settings, minutes, statistics and quiz progress are saved on your iPhone, in the app's own storage. The app sends none of it to me or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
The App Store privacy answer for the app is Data Not Collected.
Camera
The camera counts your push-ups. Each image is analysed on the iPhone to find the position of your body, then dropped. No photo or video is saved or sent.
Screen Time
Screen Time lets the app block the apps you pick. Apple gives the app opaque tokens, not the names of those apps or how you use them, and they stay on the iPhone.
Notifications
A notification takes you to your push-ups when you tap a blocked app. It is sent by the iPhone itself.
Quiz images
After you answer, the quiz may show an image downloaded from Wikimedia Commons, with its author and licence. Wikimedia sees the ordinary technical details of that request, such as your IP address, under its own privacy policy. The app sends it nothing else.
Purchases
Purchases go through Apple. I receive no payment details, only Apple's anonymous confirmation that the purchase exists on your Apple Account, which the app checks on the iPhone.
